The girls went to spend the night at Gramdma’s, so Madame and Stevo and I snuck off to grab a bite to eat and browse the stacks at BAM.
I found a couple of magazines. Wired. Outside. Standard fare. I also ran into an old friend in Toad, from Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows. I decided to pick it up for Stevo. He is developing shrinking of the brain due to Gameboy overload, so we are going to read Willows in an attempt to thicken his frontal lobe before it is beyond hope or repair.
Leafing through the intro, a haunting quote from the author: “To know what you would like to do is one thing. To go out and do it is another.”
